The Happy Ogre Story....
Owner/Operator Scott Bednarski is an 8th grade History teacher and proud
graduate of the University of Michigan. This Happy Ogre story begins after
Scott earned his B.A. in education and then set out into the professional
world. After a couple of initial stops he found himself back teaching at the
place he graduated from, Bentley Community Schools. It is about that time
he began working as a D.J./K.J. for a local entertainment company on the
weekends. After a couple of years of honing his skills, the vision of Happy
Ogre Entertainment came about. His main objectives when starting the
company were to offer top notch equipment, music and presentation at fair
and reasonable prices!
Happy Ogre Entertainment has now grown into a multi-system company
playing many venues and private gatherings all across lower Michigan. The
objectives first brought fourth when starting the company still have not
changed. Scott is constantly investing back into his company and still
believes in the philosophy that quality does not happen by chance.

the coordinated event. Our professional disc jockeys/karaoke jockeys are
very knowledgeable in music and sound. We feel this is extremely
important when making your event a fun filled and memory making
celebration!
Experience Does Matter
Happy Ogre Entertainment believes experience is a very important factor
when selecting a entertainment company for your special event. Many
companies may "train" a new Disc Jockey a couple of times before sending
them off to do a show. We have only professional and experienced disc
jockeys/karaoke jockeys.

Another aspect that separates us from the competition is if requested we
offer megatouch touch screen video games along with any package. Each
machine has over 70 games to choose from, these provide many hours of
fun for people of all ages.

- We use Mackie & Behringer Soundboards, NEW Mackie SRM 450 &
B52's powered speakers, Shure microphones and large flat screen
monitors for karaoke.
- We belong to different DJ-Only music subscription services. This
insures that we will have all the latest music in Top-40, Country,
Urban, Adult Contemporary and Dance. If you request it, we will have
it with us.
- We have state of the art lighting shows. We also offer fog and
bubbles for your event at no extra charge.
